INDIVIDUAL JOURNEYS
Students in our Senior School follow the Barbados National Curriculum, completing the Caribbean Certificate of Secondary Level Competence (CCSLC) at the end of their Form 2 year and the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) or CXC at the end of Form 5. As our students sit exams when they are academically ready, we may advise that external examinations are accelerated or deferred. Student success, on an individual level, is our objective.
NO SUBJECT RESTRICTIONS
Lockerbie College has always believed in open subject choices, and for over a decade we have seen students select unconventional combinations of subjects for CSEC. This has indicated to us, that students have somehow recognised, all along, that careers of the future will require different skill sets than traditional careers have demanded.
This is a validation of our belief that students must be at liberty to choose the subjects that allow them to pursue their interests.

We aim to create Lockerbie Learners who are confident working with information and ideas – their own and those of others. We strive to help them become resilient, secure in their knowledge, unwilling to take things for granted, and ready to take intellectual risks.
